The time is now! (duh, obviously it's now o'clock) What we mean is… your wait is O-V-E-R (sort of, but not really. You still have to wait for the package to arrive)!!! What we really mean is that STARTING TOMORROW, we begin shipping!
US/Canada/International backers (except UK/EU) - your packages are being fulfilled from North America
UK/EU backers - your packages are making their way to a logistics provider in the UK to then be sent out to you. Doing so made shipping considerably less expensive. Your shipping rate included all the fees (VAT/EU related fees/etc..) in CAD$.
For those who haven’t completed their surveys, a friendly reminder that May 15 is the cutoff date for the posted shipping rates (please refer to our previous update).
Now that business is out of the way...
We definitely did not want to send everyone their units and say bye bye. We went the route of crowdfunding for a reason. We wanted to find a community of people who wanted to help our company grow. While we haven't prioritized our socials (not enough hours in the day to build something on our own and be parents), we have lots of cool stuff planned to be rolled out in the next few months. Why are we sharing that with you? Because we hope you can keep supporting us in this journey 🙂

This is a friendly reminder that on Wednesday, April 26, 10pm EST we will be locking orders, shipping addresses, and charging credit cards for all backers who have completed their surveys (currently 1097 of you, to be exact 😀). We will also be closing our pre-order store at the same time.
We will start pushing your orders to our logistics partner and, provided there are no issues with missing data points or other software hiccups, fulfilment should start this week. If you haven’t done so already, please go into your BackerKit profile and ensure you have selected your colours, got all your desired add-ons (also being turned off in 2 days), and have the correct credit card and address information. Please also ensure you have your phone number and email address included (required for international backers).
...please remember that we will be shipping a bulk order to our logistics partner in the UK to have your orders fulfilled. As mentioned, this was the most cost effective option for you as we were able to include all shipping, VAT, and other duties and fees. As such, if you don’t complete your survey in time, your order will still be sent as part of the bulk shipment, but we will no longer be able to guarantee colour choice if you have yet to provide us your preference.
...if you do not complete your survey by May 15th, you will be responsible for additional fees. Please also note your units will be fulfilled AFTER ALL OTHERS (over 1000 orders) HAVE BEEN SENT OFF.

We hope everyone has been keeping well!
First and foremost, we’d like to THANK everyone who has completed their survey! We also wanted to express how appreciative we are for your patience as we have been navigating the admin work that followed the end of our campaign.
So… we have finally secured all our shipping quotes :-) As such, we have some VERY IMPORTANT information to share so please read this update in its entirety.
Later today, shipping rates will be turned on in BackerKit (they need to turn it on manually, as per the beta). This means that you will be able to go into your profile and see the final cost for your order. Please remember that the values you see are in CAD$ (this is a must as our campaign and pledge management must be in the same currency).
We have taken some time to ensure we can provide you with the correct information - with the state of international shipping, we didn’t feel it was fair to advise of rates prematurely. We wanted to ensure we are being transparent and as accurate as possible.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE YOUR BackerKit ORDERS WILL BE UPDATED WITH SHIPPING RATES AND TAXES (WHERE APPLICABLE), WE ARE NOT YET CHARGING YOUR CARDS. MORE ON THE TIMELINE OF THAT BELOW.

Lastly for EU/UK backers, please note the shipping label on your packages may state “Cinch Fulfilment.” This is just an FYI and is the fulfilment service we are using to deliver the packages to you.
Taxes, where applicable, are now showing in BackerKit as well.
We still have some backers with incomplete surveys. We're sure at least some of you were waiting for this update, so we totally get it! Please try to complete your survey by Monday, April 24/2023.
For those of you who have completed their surveys, now that you have your shipping and tax information, please review everything. This is your chance to make changes to your delivery address, SplatterDōm colour selection, or to get additional units and a cheeky apron (hint hint, nudge nudge ;-))
Once everything has been locked, and all of the order details have been processed by our logistics company, we are ready to begin fulfilment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our goal/hope is to begin shipping in the second half of next week and we will send you another update advising the status of that.

Hello soon-to-be former splatterers! After an error free smoke test, we have officially sent out surveys!
This is a huge step to getting shipping going as quickly as possible because we can now collect addresses from everyone.
Please note that while you are able to provide credit card information at this time, it is not yet mandatory if you wish to wait for shipping prices to finalize. Depending on how quickly and how many surveys come through, this should be confirmed this or next week.
Do note that for the majority of backers, shipping should be similar to our original projections shared within the campaign. We've been working hard in trying to secure the best possible rates AND to make the process easy for our backers. We've been examining creative ways to reduce costs not only on shipping, but on everything duties/VAT/tax related.
We will be sending an update once we have calculated exact shipping rates, and while we know some of you may be hesitant to add-on to your current order until you know shipping rates, we will ensure you have time to adjust your add-ons once shipping rates are finalized.
A friendly reminder that all dollar values are in CAD$. This was the requirement to keep the survey and add-on process in the same currency as our original campaign.
For those of you who scrolled closer to the bottom of our campaign page, you've already met Cheeky Guy. What does Cheeky Guy have to do with kitchen splatter protection? Nothing. He's more a BBQ kind of helper, or he's just for show. Either way, Cheeky Guy was an original art work experiment we had when we were having fun one day, and we created a limited number of these aprons for anyone wanting to enjoy his company. The art is sublimated, which means it will not come off in the wash. We'll leave the rest to you if you wish to include him in your future cooking prowess.
For those of you who live in countries where VAT is a thing, please know that until we get to the very end of this, we are working to ensure there will be no VAT charged on delivery. With Europe, we believe we have found a solid solution already. With Australia and New Zealand and the rest of the world, we are still working on this in hopes of, AT WORST, having there be a small charge (though zero would be preferred!)
